Milkshake … for breakfast!

Invest in a smoothie maker and treat your child in a healthy smoothie every other morning. Smoothies are excellent way’s of disguising healthy stuff! You can get very creative with smoothies – so go on and experiment! Here are some suggestions:


Almond Nut Shake:


½ cup almonds

1 small pineapple

1 apple

strawberries

apple and/or orange juice


 

Strawberry Shake:


Handful of Strawberries(frozen or fresh)

2 to 3 frozen bananas

Pumpkin, sunflower or any other seeds(grinded in a coffee grinder)

Rice, soya or Swiss dream milk

Dairy Free Strawberry Milkshake(Nature’s Choice)



TIP When your bananas become overripe, throw them in the freezer(skin on). Pour boiling water over them, wait for 3 minutes and peel the skin off. Ready to go into the smoothie!


TIP  Seeds and nuts can be grinded en a blender or in a coffee grinder.A coffee grinder makes a powder that is not se easily seen and tasted by the fussy eaters!
